"They know it, every man of them ... firefighting is a hazardous occupation; it is dangerous on the face of it, tackling a burning building. The risks are plain...Consequently, when a man becomes a fireman, his act of bravery has already been accomplished.\" New York Fire Department Chief Edward F. Croker 1908

"EVERYONE GOES HOME - SAFELY!"

Whenever you roll out the door for any reason!  It is a reminder to ALL OF US! We are not immortal! We must practice safety and common sense at all times.

Our enemy, fire, does NOT care if you are Career or Volunteer - it will kill anyone, anytime, anywhere! Our families need us, our teammates depend on us, and those we protect KNOW that we will do all we can to save their lives.

BUT:

Property conservation and/or environmental issues are NOT reason for our failure to be safe!!!

PLEASE BE SAFE OUT THERE!!!

SAFETY-SAFETY-SAFETY!!!
